My 2 favorite are my Don Hum JIT Slide and Galco Matrix.

Suptertucks are nice if you need to conceal wearing a polo shirt or t shirt.

Stay away from Kydex.

just because you are 6'3'' doesn't mean you can conceal things easily. If you have a thin waist or even your body shape can make certain guns print on you every time regardless of the holster.

I really like IWB holsters that are used at the 3-4'oclock positions. Good access, good concealability, good comfort.

I have a Crossbreed SuperTuck (takes FOREVER to get to you) and a Galco KingTuk (actually not bad quality for a premade universal one). Both of those are practically identical.

I can't stand front IWB holsters, they press too much against my diaphragm and make it hard to breathe.

I use a belly band for my LCP when I'm running, works really well.

OWB holsters are fine...but they are not very versatile. Sometimes a situation demands you to put your jacket off or long coat/shirt off

For a large gun, you can just forget about considering shoulder holster. If you do get one, make sure it points the barrel DOWN.

Isn't Kydex molding what's used on Supertucks? What's your beef with it, too brittle? Or you mean no Kydex backing like where Supertuck uses leather?

Its an only if you must thing.

Kydex puts a ton of wear on your gun compared to leather. Its cold in the winter, doesn't absorb sweat in the summer.

Leather is tried and true.

The supertuck uses kydex, though.

If you do go kydex, I highly recommend comp-tac. I've had one for most every pistol I've owned, and all their models are real high quality stuff. Especially good match for GLOCK/Sig/HK/Kahr workhorses imo.

If you're into IWB holsters, I have around a dozen Remoras and it's what I use for my Glocks. They're super cheap and stick into place pretty well. They're running a buy one, get one free promo right now too:

I forgot the brand I got.. But it's a kydex shell with a leather backing. There are holes in the leatehr and kydex so shells can swap. I have a shell for my M&P9 and a shell for my Bersa .380. In the winter I only carry the m&p under a large sweatshirt, or coat that I know I won't be removing. Otherwise I keep the smaller .380 on me. I really want a compact .45 but I don't have the cash right now. Plus I have never shot a lighter .45...Not sure how I'd like that.

If ou want a hybrid this is the best out there. My coworkers have bought several competitors including the Supertuck(leather on it but crap compared to the Comptac) and none of them compare. It's more expensive but you are getting your monies worth. Also with the Glock one you can carry several different models. i.e. you can carry the 22/23/27 all with the same holster. Get a different gun and you can swap the kydex body out.

For leather I like this guy. I bought the city slicker 2 and love it.

For comfortable concealed carry and for your gun to stay concealed a quality holster and gun belt are an absolute must. You get what you pay for and this is not where you want to try and save money.

If you're considering a CrossBreed but don't want to wait check out Old Faithful Holsters

They're very similar, more affordable, and you can even get them in a DIY kit. I did the DIY kit for my M&P and it only took about 10 minutes to assemble, saved me a bunch of money, and that way I could put it together the way I wanted it.

n82tactical (google it)

you should also find a YT video that I created on this holster. Hands down the most comfy holster i've ever worn.

Have to agree. have one for my XDs and my Sig 226. both are super comfy and ive worn them all day tons of times without discomfort.

I have just the original model and at the ~40 bucks i paid for each its hard to beat!

Was just about ready to buy the "pro" model, but not offered for my gun.

Decided to try the Remora mentioned in this thread.

I've been thrilled with my Comp-Tac MTAC; been using it for years with my Glock 26. Kydex shell, but leather on the body, so it's very comfortable.
