We have failed to teach basic economics and a result of that ignorance is a fear, a revulsion, and an outright ATTACK against policy that would improve lives. All because someone taught them "each man is an island" and "bootstraps" are how you should plan your life, that any taxation is an assault on FREEDOM. With ZERO counter balance or actual reality to help ground the students and protect them from lies and propaganda.
