I finally decided to post about my condo remodel. Took 3 months and had to live there all but two nights when I had asbestos removed from the popcorn ceilings. I did the demo myself with help from friends, but most of the major work I had done. I did do the baseboards myself though, and a ton of organization and all the permit work. What a pain. It was worth it in the end, but cost way more than I thought of course, and took a lot longer. Here is the album!

You can't see in these, but I also had floors and ceilings done in the bedrooms. I also didn't get any good pictures of the center closet area that I pulled out. It was the pantry and water heater. It caused you to open the front door to a wall, so it looks much bigger after.

Holy freaking crap @ the kitchen remodel dude! Tell me more about your cabinets & countertops!

My kitchen is pretty similar to yours, only smaller (no joke). I'm in a similar condo, which I'm renting but thinking about buying...but we really want a house with a yard. I've done a bunch of smaller projects (home automation etc.) but after totaling up the big projects, it's amazing how quickly it gets into the $20 - $50k range, haha. Yours looks amazing, great job!

Thanks! The countertops are quartz, LG Cirrus if I recall. The Cabinets are Cherry with Espresso finish, brand was Diamond. It was a much larger project than I ever dreamed, but i'm happy with the result.

Looks great, nice new look in the house. Good thinking to get that water heater and utilities out of the main living space.

Is that slate tile on the bottom pics?

It's porcelain tile. And I don't recommend the one I got. The texture is super rough, like 200 grit sandpaper. It scuff everything and if you walk around in socks it wears a hole in them. Plus it's a pain to clean (which negates the biggest reason to get tile!). I suggest not only checking the tile samples for color and pattern, but also texture.
