Fucking ridiculous!!!

Why the hell hasn't the FAA, TSA, CBP, CDC and the rest of the feds shut down air traffic from known areas in Africa where it is spreading from? What about the other passengers on the plane? What about all the unknowing passengers that get on the plane next and might be exposed, like the unlucky passenger that gets to use the freshly infected Ebola seat again? What about all the people at the airport they could have spread it to? And why are careless, clueless idiots flying back and forth to Ebola infected areas in Africa in the first place?

A trip to an infected area of Africa at this point should be a one way trip unless the person is traveling there to be an aid worker of some sort, and they are closely monitored when they return.

This is clearly not the time for a business or vacation trip just to visit the long lost relatives, you morons. Trying to get pets and animals through customs into the USA requires an isolation period, and it's high time they started forced isolation entering the country, at the passengers expense, on fools flying around these infected areas, if the feds aren't going to stop the flights for whatever assinine reasons.

And there is already plenty of proof, including lab studies, that it's airborne for extended periods of time, because aid workers are dying from it just carrying corpses out of houses with full body protection on, but wearing face masks that are obviously leaking air around the seals.

Sorry about the little rant, but WTF already!!! Shut down the flights from Ebola hotspots in Africa already!!!

It's most likely a false alarm. If not, it really couldn't have happened to a more deserving state

No, I could think of a few more deserving states, actually. And this happens to be close to the center of the US with the largest population center. Not to mention D/FW is about the best place to live in Texas. And Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston lean more to liberal Democrats, unlike most of the rest of the state. How do you think the Democrat Ann Richards was elected our 45th governor? It sure wasn't with our Republican state capitol in Austin's help, that's for damn sure.

Wouldn't it be something if this was the start.

Imagine hearing the news that the nurses and doctors treating this person were all infected and passed away.

OMG...

It's because the CDC isn't dumb and actually understands how ebola works unlike you.

Ebola is not that easily transmitted from person to person. You have to come in contact with bodily fluids. However, with poor sanitation and public infrastructure in Africa its much easier for it to spread.

Uh, the largest population center in the US is the eastern seaboard from Boston to DC. And Austin is a notoriously liberal/democratic enclave in an otherwise red state.

Can you squeeze some more incorrect points into your next post?

You know, I'm all for friendly state ribbing and all, but this is seriously one of the things people say "I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy".

And could YOU possibly be any more inaccurate in what YOU posted??? Hate to tell you, but not one state on the East coast ranks higher than Texas in population. #1 is California and #2 is Texas. I don't know what century you're living in, but people have started moving West since plymouth rock.

Derp. He wasn't talking about individual states with the highest population. He said "population center". It's the eastern seaboard between Boston and DC.

It's because the CDC isn't dumb and actually understands how ebola works unlike you.

Because the CDC never lies about ANYTHING! Except for the recent disclosures about the links to autism and vaccines in black kids they tried to hide while they have been staunchly denying any links for DECADES. Because they have to protect the corporate interests of the vaccine makers over the people being harmed at all possible cost, right? At least they got their priorities in order. Because money talks and poor black people can get the hell out of the way.

http://atlantablackstar.com/2014/09...mmr-vaccine-likely-cause-autism-black-babies/

http://atlantablackstar.com/2014/09/03/cdc-director-sounds-alarm-ebola-epidemic/

And I could have linked a hundred other sites about these new autism revelations, but since the vaccine study was done in Atlanta, and the link was not especially sensationalized, that's what I picked.

It's also a good thing you can sleep at night knowing that the CDC owns the patent to Ebola so they can make money hand over fist on royalties while also promoting, like a snake oil salesman, their largely inneffective Ebola vaccines that won't give kids autism and other icky side effects and stuff.

And the CDC also claims you can't catch anything off a toilet seat, well, except maybe EBOLA, but hey, take that dump on that dirty toilet seat anyway that an Ebola patient just used, just for shits and giggles. See what I did there?

This seems to be a rather serious topic that doesn't need your brand of trolling. -Admin DrPizza
