Doesn't mean I like rap. I can't fuggin' stand it. Only rap song I like is California by TuPac and Dr. Dre. Well, maybe a few other Tupac songs like Change and Dear Momma, but that's about it.
All the rest is crap

What happened to them? They got old, grew up, and had families. Yeah they were good, but did you really expect another 10 years of imitations of those classic artist's styles? Yes, I forgot, hip hop or any musical genre for that matter isn't allowed to grow and evolve.Originally posted by: Nitemare
Woah, News flash! I did not know blacks were too ignorant to install p2p software. (I've been to many urban bulletin boards in which white people were either not represented or were a vocal minority)
Hip Hop/Rap is being represented not because Black's are too ignorant to get the free sh!t. It's because it is more popular with all spectrum's of the rainbow. Hell, we even have our token white guy winning grammy's for it.
How many non-white Rock bands do you know of? The last I remember was Living Color although Santana is still around. How many black boy bands do you know of, thank god none...but New Edition was 10 times better than the ones we have now.
I listened to rap almost exclusively in high school, yet oddly enough am not Black. Although I don't listen to it much nowadays is due to the modern rap song being incredibly stupid and retarded. Whatever happened to EPMD, NWA, Quest, Scarface, Ghetto Boys, and the old LL?

two words: who cares???
this is my take on rap music. rap music main cateres to low- mid class blacks. basically these blacks are making a few blacks (rappers) rich, which they themselves are getting poorer as a whole.
this is my take on you: dumb
Top 50 Singles
I count at least eight hip-hop/rap in the top10. Low/Mid class blacks only, huh?
keep the personal insults to yourself.
blacks are a large percentage of the US population.
how many blacks you know that go on the internet to download music?? they actually buy cd's. thats why its inflated with rap/hip hop.
13% of the US is black. "large percentage"? I think not. Have you any evidence to back up your assertion that blacks don't download music and that they buy more CD's than whites or other minorities?
well lets say that US is made up of 50% white. 90% or blacks (13%) goes out and buys cds = 11.7% total pop.
and lets say 20% of whites (50%) buys cds, most of them just download = 10% total pop.
no i dont have evidence that blacks download less than whites or other minorities. its just my opinion on the matter that is all
