Just got mine. Pack date is 1/21/2003. (Week 3?)

Looks promising, just wait til I get my case, psu (enermax 300W) and motherboard (Asus P4PE (i845PE)) tommorow.

I also read 2 other AT'ers were successful @ googlegear, so I guess I will put the confirmed on until someone says so.

anyone else have luck @ googlegear? and btw the price is same at newegg.

btw it posts @ 3.0ghz on 1.44 Volts on my crappy board and weak (180w) PSU.

This CPU stepping have a good chance of hitting 3.0 GHz or better, as high as 3.4 in exceptional cases.

All these reports of people getting C1 stepping CPU's now is making my finger trigger happy. I just had a processor bite the dust and I'm ready to replace it soon... Must resist temptation!!! Must buy groceries instead!!!

OK, it looks like the sweet spot with stock cooling is 3.06 @ 1.625v.. It booted at 3.15 @ 1.675v., but gave me a blue screen after going into Sandra. I'm using generic hs compound w/ 10% silver. Would AS3 make a difference? I'm at 40-C at idle.

using stock hs/f, and posts at 3.42ghz, need a better PSU, the 12v rail is like 11v...

once i get a nice copper cooler and nice psu i will tell you the full potential.

i am running 3.24ghz on 1.6vcore.

i think the malay chips are better at reaching high speed without the voltage increase.
