Like I said spread targets. Basically using the GG movement to go after all the injustices gamers have "endured" over the last several years.

One post it will be Conflict of interest, another its about feminists that hate us, another being teaming together of journalists that they are attacking, then it will be "revealing the truth" by attacking people who suggest problems with their quests.

At this point I even wonder if GG wants to accomplish something or if they are just trying to prove that they can affect the world if they want to.Its not even a witch hunt at this point. Its a reign of terror circa french revolution.

Wow, that guy is crazy. I don't know how he has the delusion that a girl that was shot in the head and now travels around the world speaking out against the male violence in her home country could be considered a coward. He keeps saying she ran away, but how are you supposed to give speeches and gain international support while staying alive without traveling around the globe?

Movements are seldom attacked for their actual cause. Detractors usually work around the clock to ignore the valid points they bring up and instead focus on the worst facets of the inevitably messy activities of people who borrow the name of the movement in order to troll/loot a store...etc then extrapolate what they think should be the "real cause" in order to condemn it.

The whole topic of GG is marred by a disingenuous tone and no one can really discuss it lest some people bury the relevant points with things that are designed to distract.
I mean let's face it, suppose you are:

a) against bullying, misogyny, biggotry, etc...
b) against every underhanded tactics meant to silence discussion like shaming, doxxing, threats of violence and whatever the internet's come up with nowadays
c) generally applauds any effort made into making videogamers into better people by moving away from the crass culture often associated with it

but were also:

d) against the idea that a group of journalists should collude game devs and publishers in secret to the detriment of the consumer
e) doesn't like a lot of the points made by the anita sarkeesian videos, despite respecting her for creating the valuable dialogue, considering her a decent person with the rights to feel safe, albeit a mediocre scholar using the same arguments as Jack Thompson and definitively a poorly informed gamer
f) generally finds people like christina sommers and john bain (totalbiscuit) to be far more eloquent and intellectually sincere in talking on those issues than much of the stuff at gawker or polygon which are being purposely obtuse to the medium of discussion that GG is in

You can either go with GG and all your sense of human decency come under assault even if you're the nicest person in america, or you can side with anti-GG and back down from your stance on a crucial and relevant topic today so you're not treated like an internet pariah. There's absolutely nothing in between so unless we can separate the signal from the noise, discussing GG is a fucking joke right now...
