Confused: Bluetooth or WIFI

Does bluetooth allow web browsing and email or is it strictly for connecting peripherals to pcs and peripherals?

Does it have the capacity and range that is equal to wifi?

i was planning to get a bluetooth PDA/cellphone and thought i should also get Mouse and Kybrd combo.

both wireless technologies support internet. bluetooth has much shorter wireless range and slower bandwidth.

So you are planning to get a bluetooth mouse and keyboard to use with your new phone?

FYI: Bluetooth has lower bandwidth than infrared, so you should have an idea of what it actually does.
