Alright I am confused as to which one to get... Either the EVGA Fx 5900 SE for $184 W/Call of Duty or an ATI Radeon 9700 pro for between 205-210. Which one?
I currently have a GF4 Ti4200 EVGA and it seems to be running all games I have tried as of recent perfectly without any issues. But is it worth the upgrade?

Why upgrade when your current card runs all your games perfectly? Seems like waste of money and time to me.

If you want to use fsaa and af then the upgrade is worth it. I went from a geforce 3 to a radeon 9800np and yes the geforce 3 would still play my games fine but the new Radeon produces a much much better image. That was a few months ago though, if I was in the market now I'd wait for the next gen. cards to come out in a few months.

Hmm... How long of a time frame till the Next Gen cards come out?and I am guessing that when they do come out they will be somewhere in the $300 to $400 range if not more?I can't really afford that.. Looking to spend like $200-250 max.

No one knows really how long it'll be for them, 2-3 months maybe. Don't forget, ATI and Nvidia won't just release high end cards but new mid-range ones as well. Then again, today's high end is tomorrows mid-range (they often rebrand the last generation. I think the Radeon 9000 or 9100 was a rebranded 8500) so you could get the 9700 Pro now and get a few months extra use. My 9800np performs almost exactly the same as a 9700 Pro and it's a nice card.

If your current card runs your games perfectly I see no reason to upgrade. Wait till you find a game that you can't run at the frame rate/details you want and then upgrade.
