confusion between Asus and Gigabyte?

Hi,
I am narrowed down to
1)asus p8z77 m pro
2)Gigabyte z77 mx d3h

as gigabyte is much cheaper. My concern is, i want more relible, more feature and future proof. Is is worth spending more for asus.
I Am using i7 3770k, with win7 pro64 bit,without any grafix card.
Please help me to decide between two.

If you plan to overclock i'd go with the asus as it has more vrm phases (i'm counting 9 chokes vs. 6). Also the 8 pin vs. 4 pin eps connector. This would be worth the extra ~$10 for me, but if you aren't overclocking it won't really matter. Also worth noting is the gigabyte boards with a "U" in their name tend to be a little more enthusiast/overclocker oriented (ultradurable marketing term) ie: UD3H vs. D3H .
Other than that they seem relatively similar.

I like Gigabyte boards but of those 2 the Asus is probably the better. They are both Z77 so 'future proof' isn't really applicable.
