I'm trying to pick out a cpu cooler and i'm a bit confused. The two factors that are needed are silence and that it will fit. i plan to get a e6750 and a GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3R with a p180 case. I tried looking at the charts on AT on the reviews but I get confused on whether a certain cooler delivers the stated performance on low or high since many of them have different noise levels on low and high.
I basically want a cpu cooler at around $50 that is silent and cools sufficiently. I do NOT plan to overclock so there is no need for a freezing cooler but something that will keep the stock cpu at low-enough temperatures. I liked the noctua but then figured out that virtually noone carries it. I'd also prefer a HS&F since i dont want to buy a fan separately
Any help is appreciated.
