Why would he want a picture- and why did he comment on the appearance of another boy? Weird. In any case, the kid didn't like it.
That closet must be getting stuffy.....
I don't think asking for an age is illegal/unethical. However, the other link mentioning sexually explicit emails with multiple underage males certainly is on the edge of being illegal. Even if it is legal, it will get the American public mad.Originally posted by: sandorski
Ya, that's the oddish part. He also seemed quite interested in Ages, just a little much. Is that Illegal/Unethical though? I mean, if any of us were to get involved with a chick, wouldn't we want to be sure she was 18+(or whatever age appropriate)first?

I think they are allowed to replace his name on the ballot. So I doubt it.

Well, CNN still uses the word resign. In the end, it doesn't really matter. The election is coming quite soon.Originally posted by: Todd33
How come the party of Homophobes is full of closet gays and pedophiles?
They said he would not run for re-election, he did not resign - this was MSNBC abuout 45 minutes ago.

Your right, they all say resign now. How fair is it that a guy with legal rroubles can just jump ship and get replaced with a few weeks left? It should be like Delay, stay on and pay for your crime with a big loss.
Both sides do that same tactic. As long as the states allow it, both sides will abuse it.Originally posted by: Todd33

A spokesman for Foley, the chairman of the House Caucus on Missing and Exploited Children, said the congressman submitted his resignation in a letter late this afternoon to Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert.

I haven't heard much of this story. Can you fill me in? What were these emails to a male page about?
Edit: Ok CNN filled in the text now with the email discussion. What will this do to the balance of power in congress?

Florida Law says after the primary the Republicans can pick a new candidate, but Mark Foley's name stays on the ballot with votes for Mark Foley counting towards the newly selected Republican candidate. Of course among other things there is the issue of whoever is running for the Republican seat explaining this to the voters, and some voters may not be able to bring themselves to put a mark right by Mark Foley's name at this point.Originally posted by: slash196
What is the Florida law on this? I know in some states once you're the party's nominee your name cannot be replaced.
