I just wish they would not permit his photo to be shown and just refer to him by his inmate id number instead of his name, so that he will not become "famous" from this for eternity.

whenever there's a whole cesspool of support for a political party that eschews common sense and education and gets boners off of guns, God, and "good ol' days," shit like this will happen more frequently than normal. lately, there've been a handful of attacks on democrats in office. it's disgusting.
I meant it as a condemnation from both sides, but eits hadn't posted yet. I felt though that preempting partisan hatred with partisan hatred when a bunch of people were likely murdered in cold blood is at best showing a total lack of perspective. I'm not going to pretend that it ever happens, but I really wish people's default in situations like this was the high road rather than the low road.
