Understand however that any sort of connector and cable lowers signal by a measure of around 3dB a connector. You want to minimize your use of connectors as much as possible. If you need more length than 10 in., you're better off purchasing a premade cable with the correct connector on each end. If 10 inches will do you find, then you're good to go, as you have to have at least that many connectors to make the connection.
EDIT: I saw conflictions and looked it up. It IS an RP-TNC connector. Your original selection will work fine. I would update the topic of your OP to reflect that you are asking about an RP-TNC connector, not an RP-SMA connector.
