I agree with what most people have said here. Music has almost turned into a joke in the last Decade.
To those of you going around saying a band, any band, has "no talent", you are wrong. All bands have talent. Even Korn. Even Nsync. They can do what they do, very well. As hard as it is for me to say it, I bet none of you can sing like any of the little boys in Nsync. But the fact that some of them are "manufactured", ruins it for me, and a lot of other people.
I play guitar. I play almost exclusively Metallica. Yeah, It took me 5 minutes to learn Last Resort, compared to many months to learn Master of Puppets, but I at least acknowledge that they do have talent. It's a cool song, only because it's heavy in the way I like. That old, NWOBHM type riff heavyness. Not heavy like Korn, If you can even call that heavy.

I have S&M, Load, Reload, and Live Shit: Binge and Purge on CD, but either don't listen to them enough, or just haven't made them into MP3s yet..
And no, I didn't get them all off Napster ... I own all the CDs..
BTW- I highly recomend the 24 karat Gold digitally Remastered disks if you're a metallica fan. They rock, especially for Ride the Lightning, which sounds like it was recorded in a cave. (But what a rockin' album it is..)
