Consensus: Papa Roach - good, bad?

Finger Eleven will get a listen. Linkin Park is a pretty good underground band - try some of their stuff and let me know what you think. No reccomendations, as i have only heard a couple times on the radio.

Well, there's no way I'm going to go to a record company, begging for a record deal. It just doesen't work that way in my head. You have to prove yourself first. You have to make them come to you. That's my goal. There's no way i'm going to be in one of those sucker bands that the record company controls.

I've only been playing the guitar for 2 years, and I still have a lot to learn musically, but my musical vision is clear. My main influence is Metallica, and you will definately be able to hear that in my music. I just hope that I can take up where they left off when Cliff died. (Not saying that Justice and Black aren't good albums, they rule).

Definately not my style. Blech. Definately better, musically, than Korn, or any of that crap. But it's not nearly heavy enough for me.

Weak. Hardly any riffs, no good storyline lyrics. No guitar solos.

I personaly love Korn, and have since i was little, around when i was ten, now fifteen. I don't like their new stuff as much as their older stuff, but at least the songs have a meaning in them. Maybe Korn just isn't your style; i can hardly stand metallica. Don't just dis on a band because you don't like their sound (exeption: boy and/or girl bands, shudder).
