Obama is an excellent case in point. To the extent that he has governed as a conservative (Obamacare, continuation of the Bush tax cuts, foot dragging on DADT, leaving Gitmo in operation) Obama has been a failure and has been deceitful. Obama's exploding deficits are a direct result of his pandering to the low tax conservative nutjobs in Congress.
