Think the 15 years of coin collecting as my other hobby has made forgetting such a flaw unimaginable, coin collecting as a hobby is a trained hobby where if there is a mark on a coin basically a $500 coin becomes a $150 instantly so your looking for these marks......magnifying glass and all looking for marks that determine value.

Better odds of convincing me Wisconsin isn't part of the United States then convincing me a stuck pixel isn't on on a flatpanel lol.

I'm somewhat OCD myself. But I got over it with this panel, because you HAVE to go out of your way to look for the dead pixel, and the rest of the panel is so gorgeous looking, it's still a huge upgrade over my monitor, and that's including a small amount of light bleed. Granted, I'll fix the lightbleed per the Youtube tutorials sometime in the near future.

Think the only pixels i could maybe pass off as ok are dark ones or ones perhaps near any of the corners, one right in the middle in any color would drive me nuts.

The dead pixel topic the day i bought my first flatpanel being a Gateway FHD2400 was hot on hand back in 2008, i sweated bullets before dropping the $500 for that screen and i tell you that sales rep at Frys earned every nickel of that sales commission cause i still haven't been wowed like i did with that FHD2400.

Hoping a 1440p panel could bring back that wow, i sold that monitor along with my gaming tower back in late 08.....

A bit of a necro, but I just got my Qinx in and I absolutely love it. There's a bit of BLB on the bottom corners, but not enough to hamper my enjoyment when using it. The included mount also sucks, but the increased resolution and better colors from my old 1200p TN monitor more than makes up for it. Now all I need to do is download CRU and try my hand at overclocking it. 96Hz seems to be a given with these, but hopefully I'll get lucky and be able to run at 120Hz.

Yeah I just sold my BenQ XL2411T 144 Hz TN panel for an Achieva Shimian QH2700-IPSMS DP Thunderbolt Edge Display for 499$. It was a pixel perfect version, so a little bit more expensive then the "normal" version. The screen is amazing. I believe this to be the same one used in the new iMacs as it appears to have the front glas "fused" onto the actual panel. I have minor/non-existing backlight bleed. Used an i1-Display Pro to calibrate the screen and I'm loving it. Best part about it: it has several input modes, including Display Port an HDMI 1.4, so I can drive 3 of those babies natively with my 13" rMBP. It also has a VESA mount and once I order 2 more of those screens, I sure will use them. Shipping was extremely fast from the accessorieswhole seller on ebay. He is - at least here in Germany - the most reputable seller of Korean Displays on ebay.

The OSD is available in several languages (including German and English) and has (imho) all necessary options (brightness, sharpness, RYB). Also for those interested it comes with speakers built in, but I haven't tested those.

Overclocking was not possible though. I could easily set higher Hz, but I was checking if it would drop frames and it did with everything above the rated 60 Hz. Since I don't play fast egoshooters all the time it really does not bother me (and in fact I question if everybody who claims their monitor overclocks well actually checks if it does not simply drop frames...)

All in all: happy camper ;-)
