Considering m/b for 2400+, KT600 or nForce2-400?

Need some opinion on the best single channel m/b for the 2400+. Considering the Asus A7N8X-X, Asus A7V600-KT600, Giga-Byte 7VT600-KT600, the Giga-Byte GA-7N400E (NForce) and a few other similarly priced boards.

I want something with a little overclocking potential... if possible with a PCI lock (which I think the KT600 lacks). S-ATA and LAN aren't needed.

nforce. if you want a value board get a KT600. i bought an abit kv7 for $75... and have 2500+ @ 3200+ could probably go higher but like you said it doesn't have a lock. ... i don't want my array throwing up on me if i push the PCI too much.

BTW: V8 supercars are awesome...

Thanks. Now it comes down to the Asus A7N8X-X or the Giga-Byte GA-7N400E (or for the same price the dual channel 7N400-L1). Can't find any reviews on the GA-7N400E, but noticed that it has a 3 phase power supply.

Opinions?

At $190 AU, the Abit mainboard is way out of my budget. At a max I want to spend $110-$130, thats why I'm considering the Gigabyte GA-7N400E, Gigabyte GA-7N400L, ASUS A7N8X-X, Soltek SL-75FRN2-L. I will only be using PC2100 memory with the 2400+.

Asus A7N8X-X is a very nice one.

Soltek SL-75FRN2-L is the fastest board on that list, has the full array of overclocking features and ultra400 chipset. I've been using Soltek nF2 boards for a good while now and can highly recommend them as stable, reliable, dependable, and high performing boards.
