Oh ok. There's no telling whether on time surgery would've saved him but yes, it does sound weird that he would delay his surgery to look at other options. I wonder who gave him that advice (wasn't me!).so I'll just say that he leaned into alternative medicines as a whole, and it went poorly for him. By the time he opted to have surgery, it was too late.
