It is no different from Republicans wanting government with unlimited power to control who we marry and what we do with our bodies. You have no moral high ground to stand on.
You might be surprised to know that I agree completely. Both parties - both sides - are in love with using the power of government to bend people to their will. Government had no business telling me I could not marry Halle Berry, and it has no business telling me I cannot marry Dave Justice. (Full disclosure - I do not wish to marry Halle Berry or Dave Justice, I just don't like government telling me I can't.)
Likewise, I think government has no business telling a woman she can't have an abortion until the child is old enough to survive outside the womb - although the fetus is a genetically unique person entitled to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, the mother should have no obligation to provide it with sustenance should she not wish to do so. If the child is old enough to survive outside the womb, then let her doctor induce labor if she wishes.
And I have no problem with people using any drug they wish, or selling or renting themselves for profit, as long as it materially harms no one else. Once that line is crossed (robbery, accident whilst impaired, transmission of an incurable disease) or at least potentially crossed (hooking with an incurable disease, driving under the influence) the penalties in Possumland would be severe and swift, but until that point I default to freedom. But note that you would have not only the freedoms of any free creature, but also the terrors of freedom; the Possumland federal government would not offer you health care, or subsidies, or any largess taken from another unless you are physically or mentally unable to provide for yourself (or are a minor with idiot parents who can't provide.) Social benefits would be provided only by the states (Possumvania, North and South Possumia, Tits, etc.)
