Contact editor for Windows PC

My contacts on both my Android phone (HTC One) and iPhone (iP5S) are totally F'd up and I'm going to be replacing my HTC One with the Note 4 at the end of the week.

So, what I want is a PC application that would permit me to import contacts from both the HTC One and the iP5S and then permit me to edit/clean them on the PC then export to both phones.

What is out there that's useful? Ideally this should be an intuitive app as I don't imagine needing to use it often so spending many hours to learn would be useless.

This doesn't have to be free but free is good if it's good.

Probably best to
1. sync your HTC One contacts to gmail contacts
2. go into icloud.com and export your address book
3. import icloud contacts into gmail
4. Use gmail/contacts to merge dupes and work on merging and deleting junk
5. acquire Note 4 - contacts ready to go when you log into your Google account
