Hi! I'm Adam. I'd like the chance to win either 2 or 3. With one of these cards I'd have enough GPU power in my old PC to stream my games

Prize 1 and 3

My core i7 workstation laptop with 6990m GPU died on me about 4 months ago since then I have been running the rig from my signiture which is an un-overclockable motherboard and a CPU from about 2007 so I could really use a CPU upgrade offered from the first package.

The 2nd package will get me a "modern" GPU as I am stuck with this 9800GTX for now which is loud and power hungry.

As for what I would do, mostly just work, some light gaming (1-2 nights a week)

A large portion of my 8k posts came from helping people get some good builds together on this subforum, and even if I don't win I hope someone can build a bad ass PC with these parts!

Thanks for the opportunity.

1. Intel Haswell i5-4430 LGA1150 CPU + MSI B85M-P33 motherboard
Would replace the wife's C2D system, already have some extra DDR3 for it. Her system has some weird issues that she complains about all the time. This would be a nice upgrade for her. She'd also have the newest hardware in the house which she would appreciate for once.

3. Zotac GTX 650 Ti graphics card
Would use this to replace a broken 8800GT, currently using PCI video which is horrible.

1) I would like either of the mobo/CPU combos.

2) If Haswell, use it to upgrade an HTPC for better power efficiency. If Pentium G2020, probably use it to upgrade my mom's computer (next time I visit her) which is currently a Clarkdale (Pentium G6950 or something) with 2MB RAM.

I guess I'll toss my hat into the ring. I could use just about any new part.

1. Intel Haswell i5-4430 LGA1150 CPU + MSI B85M-P33 motherboard

This would be a great base to build a new system from, replace my current PC from 2006.

2. MSI Radeon 7770 graphics card

Even if I don't get a new system, I can certainly use a new video card to replace my 320MB 8800.

3. Zotac GTX 650 Ti graphics card

Even if I don't get a new system, I can certainly use a new video card to replace my 320MB 8800.

4. Intel Pentium G2020 LGA1155 + 4GB DDR3 + ASRock H61M-DGS Motherboard

I think even this "lowly" system would be a fine replacement for my original C2D. There's a few people I know who have systems even worse than mine (old AMD XP/P4 systems) that I could pass my parts on to.

5. Sandisk 32GB ReadyCache SSD

YAY an SSD! This would be a first for me, would be fun to tinker with until I get a system that can use it as cache (I dont think s775 and Win XP can). Good chance this will go into a laptop.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Not sure how you plan to do the drawings, but if I had a preference for parts it would follow the numbers almost exactly (simpler to replace my 8800 with another Nvidia).

Thanks a bunch for doing this!

Would be interested in either of the combo's

Would use #1 to upgrade my desktop
I am going back to school for Civil Engineering and am finding that I am working with larger and larger autocad files and could use a boost

Would use #2 to replace my kids desktop and hook it up to there TV also as the C2D they currently use can't do both

Thanks for offering this to everyone

Would like to throw my name in for numbers 1 and 4, either of which I'd use to upgrade my dad's current Pentium 4 system with 1 GB of RAM to something a bit snappier and responsive for his work machine (not to mention he can't run full screen YouTube off the IGP of the P4 board).

Awesome giveaway that you're doing btw!

#2 - I'm currently running an IGP on my HTPC and would like to upgrade to a 7000 series AMD for hardware video decoding and for 3D capability.

Very nice of you to have this giveaway...

1. I would like to get the " 1. Intel Haswell i5-4430 LGA1150 CPU + MSI B85M-P33 motherboard"

2. This would replace my buggy Phenom II 465 system that keeps randomly shutting down (even after I replaced the power supply with a nice Seasonic).

I would like to enter for #1 and/or #4. I am a newlywed, and would like to build a desktop system for my wife, as she currently has to rely too heavily on an old laptop.

Thanks for your generosity towards the community!

Thank you for the opportunity!

I would like to enter for #2 MSI Radeon 7770 graphics card and #3 Zotac GTX 650 Ti graphics card.

Last year I rebuilt my old system for my son, with an old GeForce 8800 GS. It started being an okay card for him and his usages, but now that he started to play more and more games with more demanding graphics (especially now that school is out for the summer!), it started to get pretty annoying. One example is I bought him Borderlands GOTY for the main purpose of playing co-op together, but the card just couldn't take it and stutter every few seconds. This is already with low setting on a 1280x1024 monitor. Either of the graphics cards will be a fantastic upgrade for his computer and we would be really grateful.

Thanks!

I would like to enter for packages 1 and 4.

I recently lost my PC in my divorce and am currently computer-less. (I am posting from work.)

Either package would be used as a base for a new setup for use at home.

The other prizes would be nice, but I don't have anything to put them in.

I am interested in 1. Intel Haswell i5-4430 LGA1150 CPU + MSI B85M-P33 motherboard or 4. Intel Pentium G2020 LGA1155 + 4GB DDR3 + ASRock H61M-DGS Motherboard.

The reason I am requesting is build a another system so I can further my education in IT. I would love to have a system where I can add virtual boxes to be more hands-on with learning.

I'd like to enter for the Intel CPU and motherboard combo, which is prize #1 and #4. Prize #1 would be used to build a faster PC for my sister, as she currently has a Phenom II X3 Unlocked.

Are you sure you can SLI a GTX 650 TI with a GTX 650 TI Boost?

...is that gonna set off a bomb and fry my PC? I don't know too much about SLI.

Hi! What a nice thing to do.

I would like to upgrade from the graphics card I am using, so I would like to enter for the Radeon 7770 or the Zotac 650 Ti. Either one beats what I have.

Thanks

I could put all 5 to use

1. to replace the components in my main rig that got toasted by lighting recently.
2. vid card upgrade for the HTPC
3. See #2 lol
4. Mom's PC is getting pretty ancient and could use a refresh, the old Athlon 64 is showing its age..
5. Would put in Mom's PC, would probably help boot time pretty signifcantly, and even if it doesn't have SATA, i have a serilell laying around here somewhere....

1. Intel Haswell i5-4430 LGA1150 CPU + MSI B85M-P33 motherboard

I would use it to upgrade my current system and I would also like to be the first to try and shoe-horn that motherboard into an NCASE M1 once they go into production.

Thanks for the chance and Good Luck to everyone.
