That is incredibly generous of you, kudos man!

3. Zotac GTX 650 Ti graphics card (Preferred)
2. MSI Radeon 7770 graphics card

I have JUST built a Haswell rig so I will pass up on that awesome combo set. But my father's rig could use a GPU replacement as the fan on his is going out. I prefer the 650 Ti simply so it can handle some F@H work on the side.

Wow! True awesomeness on your part!

I'd like to throw my name ion the hat for prizes 1, 4 and 5.

They will be used to upgrade my existing system... which is getting OOOOLD! Even my 4 year old son is giving me the gears about how lame it is! This is the "family" computer and it is used for everything from teaching my 2 year old how to run the mouse (and how to NOT push the power button), to L33T 4 year old skills on the Octonauts web games, to watching family movies and for my gaming (when I have time). Oh, and way too much after hours work.

I would be a very happy winner.

Cheers!

Hey, this is pretty awesome that you're doing this for people here. I thought i would test my luck!

1 or 4 would be awesome for my mom. She goes into work early just to use her pc at work and since shes retiring soon that won't be an option. I would love to put together a decent little pc for her, since shes done so much for me.

thanks again for doing this

Very nice!

Count me in for #1 or #4 (1 preferable)

I would build a gaming PC for my cousin who wants to get into it after playing on mine, but cannot afford it. Already have a spare 5850, case/PSU and even SSD to pair up with either combo and get it going!

Kudos for your generosity, OP! I'm sure that, whatever the outcome, you'll make many people happy with this giveaway.

All of the stuff you offer is good, but I won't be greedy. Personally, I would like to have a shot at #2 - the MSI Radeon 7770 graphics card.

I already have a 7770, and I'd use this second card in a Crossfire configuration... I never had the chance to use multiple GPUs in a rig, and I'm really curious about the gain in performance (and it's a great opportunity to learn more about the challenges posed by such arrangements).

Also, I often process HD video, so this GPU powerhouse would probably help me to cut down on rendering times.

Cheers!

Awesome of you to do!!

I wouldn't mind entering for any of them.

Plans:

One of my good friends is into PC gaming. He has a lower end computer, and can't afford any upgrades. He's married, with 4 kids, and works 2 jobs to pay the bills while he lets his wife stay home with the children. I gave him my old GFX card and a power supply for an upgrade. I'd like to see him get a few more upgrades yet. Likely anything I win would go to him.

I'd like to enter for the Intel CPU and motherboard combo, which is prize #1 and #4. Prize #1 would be used to build a faster PC for my sister, as she currently has a Phenom II X3 Unlocked.

Are you sure you can SLI a GTX 650 TI with a GTX 650 TI Boost?

I made a thread asking the question, you can't, I changed the packages I wanted to enter for.

Very awesome and generous of you!! I'd like to enter the giveaway for 1,2,3 & 4. I've been planning on upgrading my stepson's pc, it's an older AMD 955 setup and he has an aging 5770 gpu, hence going for 2 & 3, and I would ultimately like to transfer him to an Intel setup, but can't really afford much right now. Thanks againOP!

Good idea, nanaki33.

I would like to enter for number 1 and 4.

I would use either to build an extreme budget build. Allowing the current Opteron system to be used as a much needed basement workshop system.

found this and was amazed by how someone could be so generous! My name is james by the way.

What I would like to enter for:

3. Zotac GTX 650 ti graphics card: Out of all of these I'd like this one the most, my brother and I have been playing games with a very weak GT 430 for almost 3 years and we really need to upgrade to play the more modern games.

2. MSI Radeon 7770 graphics card: like above, really need a upgrade from our current GPU, any upgrade would be good lol.

1.. Intel Haswell i5-4430 LGA1150 CPU + MSI B85M-P33 motherboard: This would go towards building us a new rig.

4. Intel Pentium G2020 LGA1155 + 4GB DDR3 + ASRock H61M-DGS Motherboard: Would give this to my brother for his rig

Firstly, thank you so much for this summer give away. This is quite nice of you.

I would like to throw my hat into the ring for number 4.

With this I would like to build a htpc. My wife and I just purchased a new house and a week after purchasing it my current htpc (athlon 4600+) died. We are renovating our bathroom in the new house and learned last week that the builders (from the 60's) decided it would be a good idea to cut the supporting beam in the wall to make room for plumbing. Needless to say we now need to wait 3 additional weeks (apparently) before we can move in. I need to stay with my mother.... This would be a nice treat for my wife so that she can catch up on her viewing.

Congrats to all the winners in advance and again, thanks for running this. Cheers.

#3 - I'm using a Radeon 4870. I'm not the most demanding gamer since I have less time for it. However, with EQ Next right around the corner, I'm needing a graphics boost.

#4 - I could use a secondary system for light duty work. Current rig is in a corner of my living room which is pretty much my main work area. I'd love a secondary system in the bedroom. Would love the i5 Haswell but I think someone else could use it as their main rig and put it to better use.

Suddenly a wild lurker appears!

This site never ceases to amaze me, and generous posters like the OP (whether offering physical gifts or gifts of knowledge) are what keep me coming back to these forums.

I would like to enter for all prizes, but if restricted I would like to enter in for #1, with #3 right on it's heels. I hope this isn't received in bad taste as I haven't been an active member of the community, but looking to upgrade my old machine (AMD 3800+ with 9600GT) that my wife uses so all prizes would suit me greatly in the process of getting her a new rig up and running to replace the dinosaur.

Thanks for the generous giveaways. I'd like to enter for #1 and #4....my brother in law's limping along on an old C2D E4500/2GB/WinXp system, so it would be nice to hook him up w/ an upgrade.

Well, since you kinda asked, I think the bolded part is patronizing at best. The forums are so amazing and you keep coming back to them yet this is your first post on a newly created account?

Seriously???

With something as nice as this done by the OP you find it in you to attack/slight another member?

Really, what purpose did this serve?

I'd like to enter the Intel CPU and motherboard combo, which is prize #1 and #4. I have a cousin with aspergers I've been teaching programming with BASH and HTML and such and he focuses on it and makes him do better overall. Currently he's stuck with an old IBM thinkpad t43 and I have all the pieces but a motherboard/cpu to make him a decent desktop.
