Continuation - WORLD TRADE CENTERS HAVE COLLAPSED AND WASHINGTON DC HAS BEEN ATTACKED

I have changed this thread to a continuation of the previous thread, which was getting way too long and taking too long to load.

This terrorist attack is a unique event in U.S. history, and we know it will be impossible to contain the discussion to one thread. Please help us keep the forums running smoothly by not starting unnecessary new threads while current threads are up still running. Also, please try to keep your discussions on topic and away from hateful rhetoric directed at political, ethnic, etc. groups.

I will also try to lock this thread to the top of the forum. We have had some problems with this feature in the beta of FT3, so sorry if it does not work.

From what I've heard from NBC is that it has now been 4 planes and a car bomb. 2 on the WTC, 1 on the pentagon, 1 in pittsburgh and a car bomb and the state deptarment. What's next? I'm afraid to fly to Dallas for the Xbox convention next week. Crazy terrorists...War is imminent. I'm signing up for the Army if we go to war. I suggest the rest of the patriots in the U.S. do the same.

Local news from Pittsburgh confirms that a 747 (that's right, a 747) has crashed near Somerset, PA. It was scheduled from Cleveland to Chicago, was apparently hijacked and crashed in a rural area of PA. Whether it is a hijacking has yet to be confirmed.

This is not a pearl harbor because it is not being orechestrated by a larger nation in that nation's name. Unless afghanistan comes out and says that the taliban set this up, which would be responded by a massive invasion, this is an attack by a well organized terrorist group. There is no nation to declare war on over this.
