In the episode where they killed Kellog's (?) grandmother, they showed that Kagami was still in the mother's womb - according to Kagami at least.

I thought that episode was a little vague and wondered, for example, whether that really was Kellogs grandmother like you did. I didn't remember the part about Kagami, though. So it is possible junior terrorist may have a different future.
They have a lot of stuff to cover in the season finale!

I liked several of the ideas, but the writing and the execution were terrible. It's strange. The plot was unnecessarily complex, but at the same time the dialogue was again very lazy and cliched.

So, I wonder if it will get renewed, but if so, they really need to hire some new writers.

I watched the first two episodes, I thought it sucked.

So, I wonder if it will get renewed, but if so, they really need to hire some new writers.

I couldn't disagree more.
I loved the finale.

Yes, it was complex but that was the whole point. Everyone is dealing with time travel and it raises very complicated questions. This is not an action show but much more of a game of Clue.

We learned what some suspected, that Alec himself sent her back in time.
We learned that there are others who were sent back, the freelancers and the mysterious Mr. Escher.

So I guess future Alec is working to stop the corporations? Although, on this show it is just as possible that future Alec is working towards the rise of the corporations.

Sad to see Kagame go. Also Roger Cross. Lexa Doig will have some big shoes to fill to take over liber8.

I suspect that Nicholas Lea may be joining the show next season. He has always done well in whatever he has been in.

The finale really set up some interesting plot lines for next season.

Filmed AND based in Vancouver - no stand in for Seattle for once - and X-Files was filmed in Vancouver, as was Stargate: SG-1 and Battlestar Galactica. Lot of familiar faces.

I had been avoiding this thread until I saw the final episode (I hadn't gotten around to seeing it until I could get the Blu-Ray), but it's funny, that's exactly what I was thinking after watching the season 1 finale. What started as an interesting sci-fi techno thriller has suddenly devolved to a BSG wannabe, complete with the unfaithful hero(ine) and the overly contrived plot. Time travel is inherently messy, but it's not that bad if you play it straight. On the other hand you can't do time travel and play these stupid mind games on the audience at the same time.

Here I held off on the show to make sure I didn't get stuck with a one-and-done, but now I'm not sure if I'll even watch season 2 if the first couple of episodes prove to be like this.

Well, I really enjoyed the season 2 premiere. I am once again hopeful for this series.

Yeah, was just going to post this. They basically told us the intro to the message that was sent and nothing more. Pretty sure we knew all of that info from the last episode of season 1.

I'm betting the writers don't even have the contents of the message really written yet. They'll just reveal bits and pieces that they make up as they go along to further the plot. Basically faking a deeper predefined plot line for the series as a whole.

He seems to be debating something and is unwilling to help Keira until he figures out what side he is on
