I just ran into a really, really hilarious problem.
A *special* friend of mine got herself a sweet, new Dell. So I figured I'd get her a nice graphics card as a computer-warming present (she likes teh Warcraft). So I checked with the guides at Anandtech.com and grabbed a hot, new Sapphire Radeon X1950PRO PCI Express x16 from the good peoples at Newegg. Welp, I went to install it, and found that there are no old-fashioned 4-pin molex power plugs. None!!
The DVD and hard drive are both SATA devices, so the only power plugs coming from the PS are SATA power! Even in the wooooonderful city of Syracuse, I can't seem to dig up a 15-pin SATA power-to-4-pin converter.
Does anyone know of a good online vendor that I can score one from? The usual places zipzoomfly, newegg, etc. don't seem to carry them (or maybe I'm such an r-tard that I can't find 'em). I'd hate to get tangled up with some God-awful online vendor that takes 3 weeks to ship, or doesn't ship at all.
