My high school is better than yours.
Probably was. I hated my high school.
Santa Ana aint all that bad =p
SANTA ANA When Segerstrom High School Principal Amy Avina told students she'd shave her head if the school's API score crossed the crucial 800 threshold, she thought it might be a good motivator but doubted it would happen in one year.
aint all that smart either, apparently.
If the scores surged 24 points to hit 812... that means they were at 788. If the school principal doubted they could improve by 12 points in 1 year.. that means the principal thought the students were idiots.
Even the principal doubted the students.
You wouldnt be surprised either if you saw what most of these students are like. They care more about their homes and vatos than English or math. We had to throw out the high school exit exam for a few years because something stupid like 60% of minorities were failing it. I don't even know how the fuck you would do that, you would almost have to try to fail it.
I remember rushing through it and BSing half the answers and passed in the 99th percentile, as did most of my friends.
Think in relation to the other high schools in my area.
