Cool Toy From Japan!!!

There are 3 other kinds I've seen so far. One is fishing, the other is laying down at the beach and the last one is simular to the one in the picture, but is lighter colored.

I forgot to mention, the head moves back and forth (the fishing one is up and down) and runs on solar power

They're really cool and creepy at the same time!

Don't know what that means but I have the one that went fishing. Pretty neat toy, got one when i was there. Saw a few on eBay too.

oh, heh. It's about $20 including shipping. The more people who buy it, the cheaper it is (I have to pay the transportation to go pick up the items and come home with them).

wow. this is pretty cool. ;D

says, "denchi ga iranai" no batteries needed! and in smaller text says something about... it using solar power, but can't make out the entire sentence. and "hidamari no tami" translates roughly to "people/nation of the sunny spot".

about $20? they sell these in the US for $10 or less. just go to an asian store, like a Sanrio place or asian plaza places. UCLA was selling these on clearance for $10 - 25% off. they are solar powered such that the head bobbles continuously (no battery needed). they are cute for girlfriends i suppose.

i think these were called "sunshine buddies" in the US, they are distributed by TOMY. I saw these at Paramount's Great America the other day, pretty cool but $12.99 - 20% which is still $10+. I'll wait until it dies out and buy it then..

it is really cool though!

that's $19 shipped, so you can save a buck or two by getting that instead of the one I'm offering, if you prefer that color


I can get many different types, dark like the one I showed, a fishing one (his head moves up and down instead of left and right), a beach one where he's laying down and there's beach sounds, an original type one or others. I will try and hunt down whatever you guys want, but I know for 100% sure I can get any of the above 4
