I was wondering when these would catch on here.
Been playing with these for a couple months now and trust me they are wicked fun especially if you can get a couple friends together with their own cars. Build a simple track and off to the races!
Make sure the cars you got though run on different frequencies(4 available). Soon they will be available in N. America if they aren't already and will sell under the name of "microsizers" I believe. They will also be running on 2 new frequencies so you can have up to 6 cars going at one time! Can you imagine!!!

IMO digi-q doesn't compare to bit-char-g. bit-char-gs has more parts to mod with and it also handles better. the turning radius is much much smaller than the digi-q.

Toyeast.com is a good place to order. I've ordered lots from there. The prices are good and the shipping is fair. Another good place would be Ebay(gasp!). The prices are actually good and if you bid on multiple items you can save on shipping.

Edit: oops, forgot to put in my 2cents about the oem bits. They are decent and most importantly cheap but the quality isn't as good as the bits. Read around on forums and you'll notice that they have a lot of little defects. And becareful of imitations out there. Some area packaged EXACTLY the same way as the bit-char-g. Box design, everything!! The only difference is that it won't say TOMY on the box. On those places are just blanks. So watch out and don't get gipped paying full price for these ones.

Heres what the ADMIN of TinyRC's says about the clones and the originals quality wise.. he should know his stuff considering he sells it too.

"Here's my summary:

The Bullets (which we have by the way, not just at ToyEast ) are a great way to get into BC-Gs. They use the exact same technology as other BC-Gs, but the bodies are less detailed, and they are not as high quality as the original TOMY. However, 90% of the time, if they appear to have a problem, it's something simple, like the back axle not being popped in properly etc., and can be fixed very easily. We're actually working with a factory in China to get these direct so that we can offer them very inexpensively.

The Huale/TT Trees are pretty much identical to the original TOMYs in every way, even down to the packaging. They are pretty much just discount BC-Gs, cheaper because they don't have the TOMY brand on them. Some of the bodies are less detailed, but many are exactly identical to the TOMYs. Some of them even come with 2.2 or 2.6 motors for the same price!

The original is the golden standard by which all others are measured. You won't be disappointed with a TOMY, but, you pay quite a premium for the name compared to the Haule/TT Trees etc.

"

BTW im about to buy 2 TT Tree clones which are oem they have 2.6 engines in them so they should rule it up.. the honda accord wagon and the rx-7

Well...I just blew $150 again tonight. I got the new Supra Bit Char-G and I got the "AE-86 Sprinter Truno Tune up Box" this is a good deal if you plan to upgrade your car. It comes with the accessories that you have to pay extra for, like the drift axel, Char-g tire set, char-g axel set, and shocks set. Toy east has them for $50 plus you get a 3.0 motor.

hehe, two days ago I wouldn't have known what I just said above. But then again, two days ago I had money in my account.

I ordered a bit char-g supra from toyeast. 2.2 engine! I think I might also but a drift kit. But reviews of that are mixed. I can't wait.

My next purchase will be a 3.0 engine. Possibly, even a 3.8. Oh, so evil.

I can't wait. If I get into this, I might go for a mini-z next.

I ordered on 7/22, shipped 7/23, expected to arrive 8/4. I would guess that 2 weeks is about average. This is from Colorado.

I used my MC even though it's not recommended and they claim a 70% failure rate with it. Mine went through without problems.

I paid via Paypal and now have my tracking number, with them only accepting VISA/MC and MC not working all the time I figured it was easier, I was a little nervous when it took them 18+ hours to recognize the paymnet, but now I have my tracking nubmer and I should get mine 8/6 WOO HOO will be a nice surprise as I will likely forget by then

Im thinking of ordering a couple fro Toyeast, but does anyone kno if they ship to PO boxes in the US? How much is the approx. cost for shipping to Illinois?

It annoys me when websites require you to create an account before you can find out shipping costs and such.

Shipping for me was just over $14. I'm in St. Louis, Missouri. & I ordered two r/c cars.

I believe for one car it was just over $9 shipping to St. Louis.

edit: sorry but I don't know if PO Boxes are allowed. Send them an email.

Yeesh, I was really hoping to stop spending money after the Staples Cendyne deal and the Officemax 224 CD Binder deal. I told myself that I would at least wait for the rebate checks to come in before ordering these. I started researching the Char-G's like a mad man as soon as I first read this thread There's just so many mods you can do with these. Well I finally broke down and ordered one after only about 36 hours
and I'm planning to do alot of the custom mods listed on questformadness.com. This Ultimate Light Mod is just insane (The description can be found here) Anyways, I got the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII from Toyeast. Just put the order in today. And I'm planning on using the vibrator motor from an old pager I have as spare (that's what Char-G motors really are).

Geez louise... Anyone find these at Walmart?

Is ToyEast the place to get them? What about the inital car in this thread? It seems like a knockoff would be ok for me now to get started...

Thanks
