I called Customer Service 1-800-800-0800 and told her about not being able to get the free shipping with 30.00 instant savings and she said it was glitch with the website. She took my order over the phone and gave me the free shipping. Thanks for the post xsquid!

OK, I just called buy.com and the guy says tons of people have called on this printer. He says as long as you order before the rebate ends and you mail the rebate before the deadline it is still good. In other words the day you call in counts as the day of sale even if they don't charge you until they ship it. I knew dell worked like ths, was not sure about buy.com.

I managed to get an order in, but without the free shipping. I'm trying to fight the no free shipping as their tech specs page still advertises it. Any suggestions?

You have to pay 9.50 for a customer service person live.....what a rip...turning to good old email.

Free shipping applies to in stock items only. The printer is out of stock, ships in 2-3 weeks. So no free shipping. Also rebate with upc must be postmarked by January 31 so it has to ship in 2-3 weeks for you to have a chance at rebate.

You could place order and call see if CSR will knock off the shipping.

I just got this with free shipping, when I checked out ground shipping was 0.00,and receipt showed $91.99. I think it might have been in my basket from earlier today but it 's worth a shot

tried to order another, no luck. but my order from this afternoon is "sent to warehouse." hope I will get it before the rebate expiration date. They charged me tax, because I think buy.com has a warehouse in my state.

I ordered this one yesterday as an color refill for the one I ordered at Staples on Sunday. Had a message on my answering machine today from Staples saying that the S820 was out of stock and that my order had been cancelled. Now I am glad that ordered this one from Buy.com. Staples can kiss the fattest part of my ass.

Not all Canons come with full cartridges. I just bought an S330 for someone, and it had starter carts. My S820 did have full carts though.

I know for a fact the s820's, s900 and s9000's come with full carrts. I have never owned one lower on the scale than that though so that may be true on the lower models. I've also owned a number of hp's (still have one) and they all had half full carts.

Ahhhh, I thought I said the S820 *did* come with full carts. Since you said "The canon's are full carts." Did you get an S330 with full carts????? No need in repeating what I already pointed out.
