Greetings,
I was wondering if anyone had the:
1. Gemini2 (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16835103026 )
OR
2. Scythe Infinity http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16835185027
DFI Infinity Motherboard.
3. HR-05 SLI http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16835109131
( for the North or South Bridge Believe the North bridge needs more cooling over south)

4. ThermalRight Ultra 120 ( extreme??)

The reason I ask, is because I am purchasing a
CPU: C2D E4300,
Mobo: DFI Infinity
RAM: OCZ Platinum Rev 2.0 (2x1gb)

What I wanted to know is:
1. If you are using the Gemini II on this motherboard how much luck have you had?
a. I heard this cooler has weight issues and could supposedly break the PCB ( T / F)

b. If you are using this Cooler, what Fans would you recommend buying / installing ( Is it worth buying any?)

c. From what I understand the fans would go over the motherboard so it would save me a lot of time and effort in not worrying about cooling on the Ram chips, NB / SB since it would be blowing air on top of everything? I guess I will have to worry about noise since if you look at the pictures of my case. I have A LOT of case fans?

2. I can get the Scythe Infinity from Newegg for 10$ more and was wondering if its worth the extra money ( I know it comes with a fan so if 2 fans for the Gemini are going to cost me a lot more for only a 5C drop then its not worth it to me.

3.
For the NB I would use the HR-05 SLI, would it make sense to take off the SB and throw some AS5 or Shin Metsu on that bay ( I bought AS5 and some Cooler Master Compound) but I may spend 5$ and get some Shin Estu Since I hear its even better
4. All in all I am spending about 500$ on the CPU, Coolers(no fan), mobo and Ram which is pretty good I just want to make sure I am not missing anything so please give me your 2 cents

Thanks a lot!

I have an sythe infinity, I put a S-FLEX 120mm Fan (1600 RPM, SFF21F) on it, and used the fan that came with the infinity in my case.

For both coolers I recomend suspending them off the top of the case - i.e. use a piece of garden wire or something, attach it too the cooler (I hooked it around the top of the heat pipes on the infinity) and the top of the case.

That:
a) takes the weight off the motherboard.
b) makes sure the cooler is lying flat against the cpu - the weight of the cooler will obviously be pulling it off the top of the cpu slightly and even the slightest gap ruins cooling.

I wouldn't bother fiddling around with the northbridge unless you find it's getting too hot, which it shouldn't if your case has reasonable airflow.

How would It stay flat when I have a tower and not a desktop since if I take a wire and attach it to the top it would be a 90 degree angle and not top to bottom.

You have a tower so the motherboard is mounted vertically, hence the heatsync sticks out from the motherboard horizontally. You want the heatsync to stay flat against the cpu (i.e. perfectly horizontal) but the extreme weight of the heatsync will pull it downwards (so it droops somewhat). That is weakening the connection between the heatsync and the cpu effecting cooling as well as putting quite a bit of pressure on the motherboard. By using something to support the weight of the heatsync you can keep it perfectly horizontal improving cooling and taking the pressure off the motherboard.

Looking at anandtech's sythe infinity results where it so much worse in a case then in an open test bed (some other heat syncs don't change temps at all when used in a case) I suspect the main reason is the droop because in an open testbed the motherboard horzontal, heatsync on top so good connection, but in a case motherboard is vertical, heatsync bending downwards so worse connection.

DB, sbuckler told you, suspend the heatsink.... After you install the unit use wire to hang SOME of the weight from the top of your case. This will keep your heatsink perpendicular to your mobo allowing the heatsink to sit flat on your cpu, "flat" in this case being the vertical plane in which your chip sits in a tower case.

I would just be afraid that the wire if it broke would short the electronics thats my issue.

Your not putting any real stress on that wire. It is only additional support. If you'll feel more secure get plastic coated wire.
