One thing to keep in mind is that the reviewer is using his pc to test the psu instead of a load tester. His new test rig pulls around 600W from the psu. :shocked:

I am not sure if the 750's little brother is also an AcBel unit, but here is a review from the Tech Report where the 12V2 rail choked under load and went way out of ATX spec:

Shows 49.99 AFR now. For me it comes to 58 shipped after $50 rebate, the 850w is $65 shipped after rebate at SVC. They are not made by the same company, the 750 is AcBel Polytech and the 850 is Enhance built, like the 1000w. Both are hot deals. I think the modular 850 is for me.
