Ya id be tempted to buy it now for my future build if I had a frys closer to me. No free online shipping and its actually $10, ouch.

On another note, these have been priced at $15 in past deals.

Id go to the manufacturer website for a full specifications list. Frys always has barebones descriptions. I dont think so though.

I have one of these for my i5 2500K, and it's awesome for the price. How can they sell these things so cheap?

From the reviews I've read there's not really a difference in temps between the + and the EVO. Not really worth the extra to get the EVO IMO.

throw a TR-FDB-2000 fan on the EVO
20000RPM, but quiet

love their fan mount doesnt take up space at bottom to interfere with RAM like the fancy ThermalRight fan enclosure

why are they cheap?
ASUS sold 21.6 million mobo last 12 months, Gigabyte 18 and new #3 Asrock 8. Do the math. LOTTA folks buy these.

Great cooler, except for the stock fan. Mine was so loud (even at 80&#37, I finally replaced it with a nice quiet (but much slower) Gelid Silent. still keeps things cool (38-40 degrees C) with moderate OCing. BTW, this thing just clears my memory modules, which have fairly low heatsinks. YMMV.

I just looked at these at fries and they had about 15 all of which were returns.

Sweet, so you can get it even cheaper!

Except most of them have missing parts because the people that 'rent' them think Fry's won't take the item back unless it was defective or it's missing a screw. :hmm:

I've been pretty impressed with mine, even with the stock fan. Right now my 2500k is at 4.4Ghz and showing 34*C on all cores idling.
