I would like to buy this case, but I just read a post from some one that said it may be impossible to remove the front fans, and also I haven't been able to find any reviews, but it looks like a very sweet case, for a very good price.

Can anyone help me out here?

I don't know about the fans not being removable. They should be. You probably have to remove the 3.5 bays to get to the fans though. Its otherwise a very very good case. I highly recomend it.

P.S. I would replace the stock fans with tornados if you don't mind the noise.

I checked out the case and I see that there is no need to remove the 3.5 bays, but the metal mesh grill in the front MUST be removed to replace the fans. It read a review saying it looked difficult, but they didn't attept to change the fans. Good luck. Keep searching.

It's pretty easy to remove the mesh grill in front.
The grill is held by 4 tiny screws on the side.
You will need a small philip head screw driver with magnetic tip to uninstall and install the screws though.

I use a Praetorian...it's the bomb...I have never tried to remove the front fans though...they work well enough...

Sweet. Thanks guys, I guess this seals my decision.

Currently I am running a Dell 2.6 ghz p4 system. And though I do not know if it is loud in comparison I can hear it quite easily all of the time.

Noise really isnt a big factor for me. But I love the look of this case, simple and elegant, its what drew me to the Lian-Li cases, but I like the look of this one even more than Lian-Li.

Can you believe I stumbled across it while looking for a cheap stainless steel case?

I will definetly be getting this case now.

Yeah, I've had my eye on this case for a while as well. Removable motherboard tray, 4x80mm fans, plenty of space...it seems to have everything I want. My next system will probably be contained in one of these beasts.

I wouldn't rule out these other cases also.

CM Praetorian $98.00

All three of these are quality cases. I presently own a older PC-60 that I bought over three years ago and paid over $200 for the case without P/S. This was when these case first came out. Needless to say the prices have come down considerably.
I have been well pleased with this case but I am looking for a new one now. The other two that I have listed are on my list. The prices that I quoted are at Newegg, along with their pictures. Hope this helps.

i have the wave master which has the same interior and i love it. haven't tried to change the front fans but i think a cleaning is coming soon it looks like i'd have to take al the hardware out even to get my hand inside there the top fan on mine is a little hard to but it is definitley a worthwhile case and looks outstanding!

I might be in the minority here, but I can't really recommend the Praetorian. I just built a new system with it, and I'm already trying to find another case.

But, take my opinion with a grain of salt. I just want from a dead-silent Dell to an Athlon 64 FX-53, with a GeForce 6800 Ultra, in my Praetorian case. My wife calls it "The Hovercraft" because it's so damn loud.

If noise isn't an issue, the Praetorian is fantastic. Easy to work in. Removable motherboard tray. Very sturdy. But it's a noisy bastard.

Noise tends to be more a product of the fans than the case....ever consider replacing them?

I have a Praetorian too, and although it's not near-whisper silent (using stock case fans, Zalman CPU HSF, Arctic VGA HSF, Antec TruePower PSU)...it's way quieter than my 3+ year old ancient ATX case setup.

And although this topic was more about the noise aspect, I will mention that even with the above setup my CPU runs at 36C under load with ambient room temp of 28+C...
