Coolermaster Centurion 5

Question... I was taking a look at this case and I see that it comes with a 350W Coolermaster PSU. Is that any good?

I'm going to be running a pretty monster machine and was wondering if that could dish it out? I was looking at the Fortron Source 530W but if this can do and its reliable might as well save some money. What do you guys think?

Its a really nice case. I have one and like it very much.. keeps very cool. The PSU that comes with the case isn't that loud (I'm sure other fans inside your computer are louder than it anyway). What are the specs of the computer you're making? Its not a very powerful PSU.. just something to get you started really. I'd suggest getting a new PSU anyway.

I'm building it for someone and the specs are as follows

CASE - Centurion
MOBO - DFI LanParty nforce 3 not the 4
CPU - WINNIE 3000+
RAM - Corsair value select 2 x 512MB
VDO - GeForce 6800GT
HD - 80GB Seagate
DVD-RW - NEC 3520

Will the power cut it? Do they make reliable PSU?

that 350W will be fine for that system, but will not cut it for ocing. also, the psu is a bit on the audible side. i've built a system using the cavalier, which includes the same psu, and its a bit noisy for my taste. also, cooler master psu's arent known to be that great. they have a pretty weak +12v rail.

Won't be OC-ing. Well at least not yet, so I guess this PSU will do. If in case this guy decides to OC in the future what PSU should I recommend him?

I got this case a few days ago and just replaced the power supply; I didn't know it was even being sold without this. Might be useful as a backup unit anyway.

I have a Cooler Master Centurion 5 case and it is not noisy at all... I don't know where you got the idea that its noisy especially when the fans Cooler Master use in the case are ULTRA versions and run at 22dba or less... Trust me, I have that case and the PSU is trustworthy. Its stable and runs my Leadtek 6800GT just fine, along with my mobo, etc.

Centurion 5 here, but I went with an Enermax 460, just because the 12v amperage on the CM PSU was low (16A). The case itself is very very nice, excellent build quality for the money, and very cool.
