I have an Athlon XP 1700+ (1.47Ghz) oc'ed to 1606 Mhz. My case temp is 34C idle right now. Room temp is 24C. I'm wondering how I can cool it better. I stuck an 80mm in the back back in addition to the one it came with on the front. I also enlarged the holes on the front to about 5mm in diameter.

Is there anything else I can do to lower temps on this case besdies cutting a blow hole on the side or top?

I used a dremel tool and cut the hole in the front large enough to accomodate two 80mm fans. I enlarged the fan hole in the back to 92mm and cut a 92 mm blow hole in the top. This worked great for me.

And I drilled the pin holes in the front bezel out a bit.

Sounds like you will need to do a little mod on your case. My Enlight 7237 was never more than 2C above ambiant and normally was the same.

The Mod I did was pretty simple. Remove all the metal grid of the case between the fans and enlarge all the holes on the front Bezel. I also added chrome grills on the outside of each fan.

I used a 120mm front with a 80mm back and 80mm blow hole + the PS fan on an Antec PP303X. You may want to use a 92mm front fan as the 120mm is pretty tight and loud but fits. Try to balance the cfm coming into the case with the cfm going out. I usually only add about 10cfm for the PS to the going out number.

maybe a fan on the case door pointing to the heatsink would help as well

I have the same case with a 750 duron@900 - case temp with mbm is 23c
duron probably runs cooler than the athlon does. I have not modded the case yet and have the same number of fans but for the second fan in back I put a ho 80mm - may be worth a try.

kind of weird but my cpu is running cooler than your case does - 30c right now

amd t-bird 750@1ghz
gf3 ti200

43 cpu, 26 case.

if i pop off the front cover, temp drops like 3-4C, I plan to mod the case later.

What did u used to enlarge the holes in the front?

Is it possible to cut the holes without buying a dremel?

QuantumSlip, all you have to do is use a drill bit. It takes maybe 1 or 2 seconds per hole.

You can use holesaws. I did that with my 2 120mm fans, and it worked great.

BTW, I've got my Enlight 7237 running right next to me (it's the same case I used the hole saw on).

i like to keep it really really cold in my room cuz thats what i like, so earlier my case temp was 14c, no kidding... my cpu temp was 47c though, i cant understand why i have such a freaking big difference in those temps, i simply cannot cool my cpu...

i have a 1.4ghz thunderbird with an sk-6 with enermax adjustable 80mm set at 3500 rpm and blowing onto the heatsink and a front intake 80mm sunon and a rear blowout 80mm sunon

you could also open up your case and take a look at how "cluttered" it is in there.... check to see that you're not blocking the airflow much.. i'm not saying round your cables or buy rounded cables.. i haven't done either.. but make sure the air is flowing through the case...

to add to what seems a long list of enlight owners, i too have a 7327
im going to carve out the front and back fan holes, grate them put in new fans, instead of the stock ones.
i also think im going to REVERSE the air flow
the fan on the back will suck in, 3 fans aptly placed over the cpu, graphics card, and network card (its a server)
will also suck in , and the two fans in front will blow out
since their are those ventilation holes on the bottom of one side, i thought reversing the flow might more effectively
cool the case components

just a thought id been tossing around in my head
