Hi I'm in process of building my first system and been going thru many posts gathering some very imformative info...But got a question regarding cooling the system,I don't plan on oc'ing (oh a amd 1.2ghz 266 chip)I've read many talking about the insuffficient cooling on this case and many are using the panaflow 92mm instead of the stock fan... is this the high output fan? noticed they have 2 different types. Also Ive decided to order a panaflow 92mm fan but the stock fan that comes with it should I move it to intake or exhaust or just order 2 92mm fans but I read somewhere about always have the largest cfm fan on ehaust and if a recall correctly never use same size cfm on intake is this true? thanks!

this is what i did

panaflow 92mm intake and moved the fan that came with the case (80mm) to the back. i am not to sure if this is ideal, but my case couldn't be cooler, it is the temp of my room. I am overclocking also.

i figured since they didn't have an outake fan in the case that it would be better to put the bigger fan in the back, not sure if this is a bad idea?

I have a Enlight 7237 case with an EPOX 8KTA+ with a
1GHz Tbird.
Your cpu will generate about 65 watts of heat!
That's a lot. Think about putting a 60 watt light bulb in
a small metal box and trying to cool it with a small fan.

I did not get good results until I put a 120mm
>100CFM fan in front, and a
92mm Sanyo denki 55 CFM in the rear.

You can't cool the cpu efficiently if you don't remove
the heat created by the cpu.

hey crzyc yes I saw your thread and thats where I got the idea about maybe moving the stock fan to the exhaust and getting a 92mm for intake but getting worried about temp since I live Ga and its starting to get hot.Is it true that the 92mm will fit in the stock 80mm hole?heard it will but will be a little tight.Might go the route you did and see what happens..Now just waiting for the fedex women to get here... thanks for the reply

The 7237 as it comes from the factory just won't do for cooling a hot processor. I've seen pics of the front 80mm hole enlarged to accommodate a 120mm fan. Personally, I think that this mod removes a critical horizontal structural stiffening "bar." The 7237 is not a strong case.

I mounted a 108 cfm 120mm fan in the left side cover, removed the cutesy pattern of holes that block some of the airflow from the stock rear(42.5 cfm) 80mm fan mount. Installed a PC Power&Cooling Turbo-Cool 300W ATX PS that moves a lot of air, and cut a blow hole in the top of the case for a 26 cfm 60mm fan. I removed the bottom front fan, and taped up a LOT of holes in the case.

The result? Not all that great, unfortunately. I put my first AMD Duron system into the case. I have a bit of an odd mainboard(Asus A7S-VM), and I don't know how accurate the in-Socket thermistor is. It doesn't touch or even get near the bottom of the processor. My temps in BIOS are Mainboard, 29C. CPU, 49C. This is in a 26C room. The Duron 850 is running at stock, with a 1.6v Core Voltage, and a Vantec FCE-62540D HS with Delta 38 fan. And AS.

With nearly identical fannage in the case that my P3E is in, I get: Mainboard, 29C. CPU, 31C. This is a P3E 600 at stock. Bruddah, even at stock, Durons are HOT processors!

I have an EN-7237 with a 120mm fan in the front intake, and (3) 92mm fans, (1) rear exhaust, (1) top blowhole exhaust, and (1) side blowhole intake, and this case is still solid as a rock.

Damn! Makes me think my two 80mm Sunons and Enermax 365VE (FC) will be inadequate. : (
