Cop abuse incident in Texas

Draws his gun on some unarmed black teenagers, takes down a teenaged girl in a bikini forceably. Must have been in fear of his life. He probably thought they had hidden guns in the bathing suits.

Also verbally abuses the black kids, and also made them lay on the ground, while the white kids weren't made to stay. I wonder whop teh fat white guy in civilian clothes is, he is following the cop around and nothing happens to him.

I guess "swimming while black" is a crime, just like "driving while black"

Guy shouldn't be a cop from the way he is acting. Just another bad apple.

I have to agree with what this former FBI guy said about it:

CNN law enforcement analyst and former FBI assistant director Tom Fuentes watched the YouTube video and harshly criticized the officer who wrestled the girl.


The officer appeared to be "running around escalating" a situation that should have quickly calmed, he said.


Fuentes said there appeared to be "no justification" for the way the juveniles, particularly the girl, were treated.


The fact that she was wearing a bikini indicated that she was "clearly not armed," he said.


The officer appeared to be "running around almost like a one-man band," he said, and other officers appeared to distance themselves from him. "The other officers that are there don't really come right to him to give him a hand. I'm wondering what's going through their minds, 'Get me away from this guy. He's out of control.'


"He's out of control. He clearly has no self-discipline. He lost control of his temper. Nothing good can happen at that point. Thankfully he didn't shoot somebody."

So the other cops at the scene knew full well he was doing wrong but did absolutely nothing to stop him.

Like I said, I'd rather deal with thugs than cops. I know I can protect myself against thugs, cops can do as they wish and their buddies will protect them.

They were invited to this pool by some of the white kids in this neighborhood. According to the kid who recorded the video, some of the residents took issue with all these coloreds being in the neighborhood and a group of white people started making comments about how the black kids needs to go back to their "section 8" community. An altercation happened between two of the teens and the racist white idiots (there is a video of the supposed encounter) and someone called the police.



This pissed me off. Did you see how he fucking whipped his gun out and pointed it at the two boys like that? Thank goodness the gun didn't go off and that his fellow goons stepped in and tapped his stupid ass on the shoulder.


Also, why the fuck did he grab that girl when she was walking away? Talking shit is not a crime and she had her back turned to you. So, you got salty and assaulted a 14 year old girl in a bikini?


And THANK GOODNESS to all those white men taking precious time out of their day to make sure the cop could continue roughing this girl up without being disturbed by the group of questioning black kids.


Btw, there is a video of two white female elephants fighting one of the teens that was at this unsanctioned pool party which was supposedly one of the events that caused this whole issue.

Videos like this should outrage us all: as taxpayers who have to foot the bill for this utter incompetence, as citizens who hire these clowns and are effectively carrying out this crap in our names, and because of its blatant disregard for our constitutional rights.

I think the big issue wil be, why was he forcefully detaining what seemed like people at random. He may have violated several peoples rights there....

It happened pretty fast....I honestly cant blame the other cops for going hands on with him eight away. What if he saw something they didnt? also, why the hell would they want to get involved in his lawsuit? At least one of the other cops soundes very reasonable and respectful to the camera.

Actually the article says that they did not have permission. Even if some kids who lived there invited them, every apartments pool I have ever been to have had a limit. You can't just invite however many you want.

The initial call came in as a disturbance involving multiple juveniles at the location, who do not live in the area or have permission to be there, refusing to leave. McKinney Police received several additional calls related to this incident advising that juveniles were now actively fighting.

First responding officers encountered a large crowd that refused to comply with police commands.

From the article in the first post. Huge crowd of kids, fighting and acting like fools. Several calls about it. Cops show up, and the kids wouldn't leave.

They weren't invited, they wouldn't leave. They wouldn't listen. Doesn't mean that one cop has to be an idiot, or that people should say go back to section 8 housing, no matter if it is true or not. At least attempt to use facts, and not lie when trying to further your agenda.

WASHINGTON -- When Miles Jai Thomas arrived at a party at the Craig Ranch North Community Pool in McKinney, Texas, on Friday night, the pool was open to everyone -- until a security guard showed up and removed black partygoers from the area.

“Then he started making up rules to keep us out,” Thomas, 15, told The Huffington Post.

A white woman at the pool started making racist comments, Thomas said, such as telling black teens at the party to get used to the bars outside the pool because that’s all they were going to see.

Grace Stone, 14, who is white, told BuzzFeed News that she and friends objected to an adult woman making racist comments to other teens at the party and that the woman turned violent.

This is when, according to Thomas, a 19-year-old black woman told the belligerent white woman to stop fighting with the teenagers. The white woman called the black woman a “young bitch,” then walked up to her. After the young woman said her age out loud, the older woman punched her in the face. Another unidentified white woman jumped in as well before Thomas, who was recording the incident, and his friends went to break it up.

It was after this incident that the cops showed up and “started cursing and yelling at us,” Thomas said. He described an officer manhandling a young girl, as shown in this video embedded above.

“So a cop grabbed her arm and flipped her to the ground after she and him were arguing about him cursing at us,” Thomas said.

When two teens went toward the cop to help the girl, they were accused of sneaking up on the cop to attack.

“So a cop yelled 'get those motherfuckers' and they chased [us] with guns out. That's why in the video I started running,” Thomas said.

"I was scared because all I could think was, 'Don't shoot me,'" he said.

About 20 people were handcuffed during the incident, Thomas estimated. McKinney Chief of Police Greg Conley said in a press conference that one arrest was made, according to BuzzFeed News.

Attempting to use huffingston post for anything reputable is just silly. I'm sorry, I trust Yahoo far more than huffington post. Calling what Yahoo stated "conjecture" just shows that you will believe whatever you want to believe. Yahoo was in the original post, not your link. And that was by a well known cop hater.

This is much ado about nothing. Nobody was arrested, nobody was hurt. If they had just left, not argued and resisted it would have gone much smoother. On the flip side, if that one cop hadn't ran around like a crazy person it wouldn't have escalated either. Bottom line, bunch of nothing. Both sides played a part in it escalating. The vast majority of the blame is on the cops obviously, should have handled it much better.

I don't know what they were running to or why in the beginning. But once that officer was standing in the intersection, things seemed to have settled down at that point. Whatever that girl in the swimsuit was yelling, he should have ignored. Why did he go after her? Most likely it was for something that he shouldn't have. After that, she was resisting, so putting her down on the ground is standard practice. I'd say he went overboard with his decisions, and that whole interaction didn't have to happen.

Him pulling out his gun was entirely justified. Those two guys ran at him like they were ready to throw down. They took off running, and he put his gun away. Nothing wrong there at all.

And I see nothing on this video that has anything to do with race. People are just looking for shit to complain about.

As usual, there's always something more to the story that's left out to further a narrative. From what I've read anywhere from 70 to 100 youths crashed this party. Jumping the fence, assaulting a mother with two kids, and attacking security guards.

“This is not a racist neighborhood,” said Benét Embry, a local radio personality who witnessed the incident. “There are a lot of good people in this community. It’s unfortunate that an event like this brings the spotlight.”

Embry, who is black, said he appreciated the police officers’ speedy response in calming a rowdy situation.

“That’s what they are supposed to do, protect us. I don’t know any other way he could have taken her down or established order,” he said.

Embry said that the teenagers started jumping over the fence into the party and causing a disturbance. He said the teenage girl seen in the video was talking back to Casebolt.

“She’s bringing more stress into an already volatile situation,” Embry said. “Out of a hundred kids, you probably had seven who are acting the fool. They totally spoiled it for everybody else.”

Anyways the video showed the cop needs more training on how to handle a crowd. The only person getting out of control from the video was the cop. They could had dispersed the crowd(which is their job) a lot more efficiently without this guy running around like a chicken with its head cutoff.
