....when it is pretty clear that the video is made by a camera in the cops car. Why doesn't the article say how he obtained the video? How do you "obtain a video" that was clearly made by a camera in a police cruiser?

Well, at least the guy obtained a video. All we get is some 3rd party babbling abuot it on an internet forum with nothing to show what he is talking about.

Babbling? I was just wondering how he obtained the video. I think that is improtant. Did the police give him a copy? Do they normally give copies of cruiser videos to the public? I don't know. Maybe someone on here does.

How did he obtain the video? I can't make any clearer than that. Since you don't know maybe you should go participate in another thread.

I think the OP is actually asking, in general, how one would go about obtaining a video that was taped by a camera in a police cruiser.

If that is the case, the actual video in question is irrelevant.

To be honest I have no idea how they would be able to do that.

easy. there are acts (such as freedom of information) and such where you can get the video.

takes a little research.

oh and the OP could have asked the question a lot clearer.

I'm bored, I'll play.....

1. Ask the cop for a copy
2. Steal it
3. Bribe the cop
4. Perform sex acts
5. Download it using torrents
6. Get a copy from YouTube
7. Claim you're the D.A. and need it for evidence
8. Claim you're the fat cop that works in the evidence cage and take it
9. Tell the cop you're from Homeland Security and confiscate it to protect America
10. Pose as George W. Bush and confiscate the tape as evidence of WMD's in Iraq

Guess there's a lot of ways to get the tape really.......

maybe link the video?

exactly.

and if he is asking how one would get a copy of a video that was taken in a squad car, I would agree that freedom of information act, etc, would allow this.

If this is in reference to an ongoing court case, the attorneys have to obtain a copy if it is used as evidence in the case.
