Copperhead worked fine for about three weeks. Sometimes after reboot I had to reseat it but that was fine, but now it installs as an HID compliant mouse and while the point is clickable it does not move.
According to the install.txt being recognized as HID compliant mouse is normal with Windows 2000, but when I try to update driver and point to the location with the inf file it says "location does not contain any information", and won't let me proceed.
I have updated the firmware, first to 6.17b, then 6.17i. I have also booted to safe mode, uninstalled drivers, rebooted and installed drivers, but still no go.
Any ideas?
Only thing that's changed on my computer is that I flashed my BFG 7800 to the xfx 1.5v somewhere around the same day that this began. I doubt that is the problem since it ran fine for a while, and since the mouse is detected as a Razer USB mouse.
If I boot to safe mode and look at Device Manager it shows up as a Razer mouse, but if I boot into Windows normally it shows as an HID compliant is all that is visible in Device Manager.
