cops and not some jerk offs.

What's the difference?

Nobody was hurt and nothing was stolen- you can take that for starters.

Only if you cherish your liberty lightly. The police had no business being on his property let alone walking into his house uninvited. Yes the homeowner may have been putting himself at increased risk of being the victim of a crime, that is a risk he is allowed to take as a free man on his own property not breaking any laws. Some would take the view that what was taken from him was far more valuable than mere things.

He was asking what the difference between cops and jerkoffs were.

I find it amazing how people whine and complain about police doing nothing about crime, but when law enforcement takes a proactive approach to the safety of the general population, they get flamed.

Just so you know- the police don't have any less right to be on your property than anyone else. If your mailman walks up to your front door, so can an officer. No probable cause is needed.

You're right. They didn't have business being on his property. But would you rather it be a cop or a robber?
