this also answers my question here, cause if a dual core opteron @ 2750 could do it in 25 seconds then mine should have taken about 35 but this clearly shows that PS takes advantage of the second core

The only thing this "proves" is that every MB/Disk/windows installation is different. Are you really just comparing the CPU, or the chipset and subsystems as well? The same cpu may perform 20% differently on different motherboards. So the most anyone can get out of this is that the new intel stuff is pretty fast.
