Take it easy guys. It's a decent cpu with a gigabyte mobo for 130 bucks. I'm a big fan of all gigabyte boards. Sounds like a winner to me. Who uses the retail HSF anyways? This little dual has to be oc'ed to get some zing from it. I'm definitely not using stock HSF for that.

Wow, I would have been impressed by $175.

The reduced warranty of an OEM CPU would be okay with me (1 year instead of 3) and normally I would use an after-market heat sink anyway however the OEM one is quite good. These do not generate much heat. Sure, for overclocking something else could be better but then the savings is negated. I think the 530 is actually better suited for overclocking anyway. Likewise probably the UD2H if you do not need the smaller size of the S2H. I already have an i5-650 for the features (and not really "needing" to be overclocked) and this S2H. I am still tempted by this combo though even if it means having someone ship it to me.
