Core i7 920 Idle Temps with Zalman 9900

For each core I'm getting 28-32C at 0% cpu usage, I ran Prime95 for a few minutes on Small and Large FFT and it goes to 50C

Are these normal? It seems with the Aftermarket heat sink I should have cooler temps?

I'm doing about 40c idle and 57c load.

That was stock!

Now, I'm OC'd at 3.8 and idle is ....weird.
I have one core at 43, two at 46 and one at 47. WTH.
Under load it goes up to 73.

My hard drives are at 40, 43 and 45.


I'm not sure what else to do with this thing to get it to cool down.

That's pretty close in temp to my setup. I am at 3.8 and idle at 39/35/34/32 (average) and under load it just hits 72-74 (depending on ambient temps). Cooling this chip is a beast; the temps really start to go up once you hit the 3.6ghz mark or so.
