1. Never said one can opt out. If you do not want to keep more of your money from this tax bill, there is a method for you to write a check to the Treasury and give it back. Pretty simple.

2. Not weasel words at all. The post is about Federal Income taxes. Nice use of the Alinsky tactic to obfuscate and try change the topic to something not relevant. Such a good little marxist.

3. You can always write a check to the Treasury if you want to help out those less fortunate than you. My preference is to donate to charities and church rather than the the Treasury and do that to help out those in need.Perhaps you could find a charity such as a homeless shelter or food pantry to give to.

Cut a check to the govt so that they can give it & another $1.5T as tax cuts to Rich people who don't need tax cuts?

Wow... Where do you get your drugs?

And you're pledging your tax cut to charity? Really?

Wait unti the GOP and Trump go after Medicare, Medicade, welfare and Social Security.

I actually will find it funny when gandma and gandpa Repubilcan find out the same Republicans who they voted for will be decreasing the programs they most desperately need to survive. Oh well. Guess you should had become a millionaire when you were young.

You think they care about the consequences. Looters are not worried about the repercussions of their actions on the people they are stealing from.

You mean... we're just another target economy for the international financial elite, like Greece, Ukraine or many others before them?

Yes, so you endorse only people who benefit from opting out. This is transparently stupid and you know it.

2. Not weasel words at all. The post is about Federal Income taxes. Nice use of the Alinsky tactic to obfuscate and try change the topic to something not relevant. Such a good little marxist.

Of course it’s weaseling. Taxes are taxes no matter what they are called. The only reason to only count some instead of others is to weasel out of reality. If you somehow think people paying a percentage of their wages in payroll tax isn’t relevant to them paying a percentage of their wages in income tax you’re either stupid or a liar.

Also, bonus points for the alinsky reference. The #1 way to know you’re dealing with a crazy person who consumes a ton of right wing media is a saul alinsky reference.

3. You can always write a check to the Treasury if you want to help out those less fortunate than you. My preference is to donate to charities and church rather than the the Treasury and do that to help out those in need.Perhaps you could find a charity such as a homeless shelter or food pantry to give to.

Similarly you are able to unilaterally support any public policy you like. Did you support the Iraq war? I hope you invaded it personally. Do you support war against Iran? If so, get to invading. Do you support more military spending? Donate for a tank!

The idea that people who support collective policy should implement it on their own is also transparently stupid as the examples above show.

You need to get out of the right wing bubble, brotha.

Like most, I live in the real world. Experience what hard working people do every day and maybe you will understand. Another Alinsky tactic, belittle and besmirch your opponent when no other arguments can prevail. Such a good little marxist, well indoctrinated.

Nope I need my money to take care of my family. I already give a fair amount to my Church and local food pantry. I am going to use the extra to buy a bigger boat. At least I hope I can. Wife and I talked about it and that is something high on our priority list.

People who actually need more money to take care of their families generally don't define that as buying a bigger boat.

It seems you're suffering from affluenza.

just a very hard working middle class taxpayer. and a bigger boat will indeed help my family. I don't have room for all the kids and grand kids on our current boat. So much more fun when we can take everyone out on the water together.

It was you doing the besmirching with you remarks about cutting a check & giving our tax cuts to charity. Your smug self righteousness is nauseating.

that was a bit tongue in cheek. but the point is I get to keep more of my own money to do with as I wish. As do millions of other taxpayers. That is the great thing about the tax bill.

PS: we really do want a bigger boat. 25-27' Bennington, 200HP 16 passenger capacity

reading comprehension not your strong point? It was a suggestion if you are unhappy with the tax cut. You don't have to if you want to keep it for yourself.

You obviously don't care that the government has to borrow the money to give that cut. I'm sure you felt the same way when Obama and crew had to do it for the great recession either.

I would expect greater economic activity will more than offset any temporary drop in revenue with a resultant net plus to Federal revenues. No borrowing found.

You literally cut out all my arguments and then complained I had no arguments. If you had experienced the hard working life I have you would probably understand my view better.

Let me see. started life with my mom and dad and 3 siblings in a 8x40 foot trailer, working on a farm until 18, washing dishes to put myself thru college then USAF to finish college. Masters degree at night/weekends while working full time. Yeah, cry me a river.

I understand your view very well. It is a view I utterly reject.

Let me see I lived in a house with an abusive dad served six years in the navy while going to college at night and got my bachelors while fighting cancer then got a masters degree while working on the weekends. I didn’t have anything you didn’t have but I’m not such a stupid piece of shit so that I would deny it to others.

Shut the fuck up you whining poseur.

And we come to the ultimate ending of an argument for any marxist. telling the other person to shut up - that is shutting down a dissenting view. Sounds to me as if someone else is doing the whining.

I am very happy you have overcome hardship - good for you. Truly.

As for denying something, the only person I see who is advocating that is you and your brethern. The ones who are so adamantly against letting people keep more of their own money.

So you whine about how no one can understand your suffering and then when someone can you whine about how mean they are to you.

I truly hope you are able to gain some perspective someday.
