I see that rebateaccess.com is now issuing Visa debit cards instead of paper checks for the rebates. Are there any caveats to using these debit cards, such as expiration dates ?

That's horrible. Someone should contact the FTC and Attorney General's office. I believe by law most cards waive any fees for the first six months.

I've received a few of Visa debit cards (through Metabank) as Norton rebates. Any transactions with the card have been fairly smooth. Just make sure to choose 'credit' instead of 'debit,' and especially alert the cashier of the card's balance if your transaction will be above that amount.... otherwise, yes, the transaction will be rejected.
