Thanks for the pics... very nice. Yes, the mATX board looks like a postage stamp stuck inside the case!

Volume-wise it looks about the same as my HAF922, and I like the fact you can remove the HDD cage(s.)

Now NE just needs to put it on sale for $80...

What kind of temps are you guys getting? I want this case but I am worried about temps and the air flow.

It's damn hot here the last two days and I have stubbornly not been running AC, so ambient has been around 80° F for gaming sessions. Previously, I had been gaming with ambient around 70° F, and this is what I got:

After 1:51 of play time, GPU (950 Mhz core) is holding steady at 66° and CPU firm at 47°.

I was playing last night, in a much hotter room, and I didnt take constant temps, but I had to kick my H100 up to max fan setting to stabilize the temp after a 3 hour gaming binge. I had pushed the CPU temp up to a friendly warning level.

Also, and this should be obvious, I have the tower situated inbetween a media tower and my desk. Not ideal for airflow. I think after a few hours it starts circulating the same heated air, hence the eventual heat build up. If I put it in the middle of the room, I wont have that problem.

So, unless you have multiple components heavily +voltage (due to OC), I think you'll be fine.

First case I have bought since my RocketFish Lian-Li case. This case can be quiet as a mouse or you can open vents and have 8 fans going at one time. At HardForum, they probably have the best discussion going on that I have seen in any forum about the 550d. Anyways, I love this case

FAIR WARNING -

RebatesHQ, which processes rebates for Corsair, has denied BOTH of my rebates for the 550D and the H100.

On that basis, I would strongly discourage anyone from buying any Corsair products in the future unless you do not care about the rebate.

FWIW, the supervisor for RebatesHQ was a completely smug jerk, and was totally uncompromising.

Can you contact Corsair directly and explain the situation? Do you have the supervisor's name? I'd be all over it like a cheap suit, it's your money!

I filed a rebate for a Corsair PSU I bought Black Friday (a total of 4 rebate items with 4 different companies) and Corsair hit the mailbox first. No complaints. Gigabyte was last after they first denied my claim... but I had The Goods on them and they gave it up.

If you don't get the answer you are looking for, move it to the next level... as long as your facts are in order (along with your paperwork) you should be golden.

Update:

Corsair rep was helpful and responsive and pushed through the larger of my two rebates ($20). I didn't get both, but I am satisfied with the outcome. Very impressed with Corsair CSR.

Hey there guys, I'm planning to buy this case in a couple of months, but I have a few questions I need help with before I can pull the trigger:

1: Will a 140mm Noctua NF-P14 fan fit as exhaust or do I need to use a 120mm fan instead?

2: What's the recommended fan setup if I plan to use an overclocked Gtx 680 and Ivy Bridge CPU? I was thinking 2x120mm front intake (I'm guessing 2x140mm will not fit in the front), 1x120 (preferably 140mm) exhaust, and 1x140mm (if possible) exhaust fan on the top.

I figured a 140mm side intake would be optimal but sounds like I would have to remove the side panel for that to work, correct? Problem is, I need this case to be somewhat silent, so removal of side-panels sounds... noisy.

Bonus question: Would a Noctua C14 cpu-cooler restrict airflow to the exhaust in the back? I pretty much need a decent cpu-cooler because I'll overclock Ivy Bridge for sure, but I want to avoid having more than 4 or 5 fans in total.

As you can see, I'm still unsure about the optimal fan setup.
