Want! This is a beauty. I have an 800D right now and this case looks like they've put in everything that was needed to take away some of the inconveniences of the 800D for water cooling.

Still clean and simple too :thumbsup:

George from Corsair said first shipment going out the week of the 11th of this month. The original date they were shooting for was the last quarter of 2012 lol

I'm a fan of big cases, and I currently own the 800D. When people see it, they ask me why I have such a big case. I don't do custom water cooling or anything like that, but I just like not being inhibited by ridiculously tight computer installations. As I like to say, "I could tap dance in that case."*

However, some of the latest 140/280mm all-in-one liquid cooling solutions piqued my interest, and I was curious if they would work in my 800D. I was rather saddened to find out that Corsair only designed it to work with a 120mm, 140mm or a 240mm radiator as the top lacks holes for 140mm fans. Honestly, for a $300 case, that really irks me. I assume it's because Corsair didn't have any 280mm products out at the time as the H100 is only 240mm, but now they have the H110, which is a 280mm AIO solution.

So, what goes through my head is... if Corsair lacked the hindsight to realize that 140mm fans might be a nice idea for fans, then what are they going to ignore on the (even more expensive) 900D?

The first small batch has been shipped. The first places to get them are
1) Corsairs web store. They will only have 10 to sell
2) Newegg.com on the website they expect to have them by 4/4
3) Microcenter

I highly doubt this. In the event you can get the raw materials and the schematics to have someone make this, it won't come with the "accessories" of a case or any support. I could understand if you were talking about a Mountain Mods case. It is basically 6 pieces of metal with holes cut in them, screws, and a motherboard tray.

Nope they only had 10 so they were gone in like less than 5 minutes. I was at my computer when i got the email. I put it in my cart but took to long to check out. They are suppose to have a smaller version later this year so i'm trying to decide to wait for that or get the 900d when it available again.

Looking at the basic tools list:

• Dremel = $75
• Jigsaw = $20
• Finger file = $5
• Drill = $30
• Rivet Gun = $10
• total = $180

That leaves you $170 for materials. At around $10 for two square feet of material, you can easily get enough material for the outermost enclosure (A Corsair 200R is only around 8.8 square feet!) That leaves you around $70 for fans, an HDD enclosure of some kind, activity LEDs and front panel USB/audio outputs.

Obviously, you will have zero support if the case doesn't function as you would like, and you actually have to go and design it. But it is totally possible!

That's not to say that this case isn't good. It's got the size necessary for a ton of watercooling and modding, and the exterior is nice and clean--a blank slate for whatever you want to do. It just also happens to be really expensive.
