Get 'em while they're hot! The CX430V2 is now out ($30 AR) but the difference isn't much. They just enhanced the efficiency a bit (this misses 80Plus by maybe 1%) and maybe tweaked it a bit elsewhere, but otherwise seems to be the same. This PSU is reasonable quality and can put out every single watt it claims to on the label (unlike many cheap PSUs).

I got lucky with one of the last CX400's and love that PSU. Newegg's reviews keep complaining about PSU noise from this CX430 unit. Are they unfounded?

I got one for $18.51 in a rebate deal awhile back. Works well enough but it ain't quiet. It's single 12v rail too so keep that in mind. Doesn't affect me but it might for others using SLI or whatever. That said, I think it's a good deal on a solid PSU.

I bought one of the CX400 too when Newegg was selling off their inventory. Bought the CX430 during the last sale. And just bought another one now. Best PSU under $20. Mine is very quiet so no complaints here.

I already have one from two weeks ago, and I ordered another one. Oh yeah, I also still have a spare CX400, NEO ECO 520C & 620C and TruePower Trio 430 not to mention all the higher wattage units. Does that make me a hoarder? Never mind, don't answer that. D:

TruePower Trio 430 is quiet enough for an ultra-quiet PC...quieter than CX400 and CX430. The only PSU I've used that I didn't have to fan-mod.

Don't worry. The V2 is out, so once they clear out original CX430 stock, the CX430 won't be available anymore.

Then, in a couple months, the CX430V2 will be on sale for cheap.

Sweet PSU, able to handle an o/c E6600 running prime95 + power hungry 4870 running furmark for 8 hours without even breaking a sweat. Funny how AMD/Nvidia used to say the minimum power supply for these vid cards was 550+ watts!
